About

Greetings and thanks for reading.

I started this blog in the Fall of 2010, soon after our International adoption and the beginning of my year at home. Dropped out of sight from Sept 2011-July 2012 when I returned to my desk job. August 2012 left the office job, hopefully for a long long time.

I’m a parent of a toddler, adopted from China and a stay at home dad (SAHD). Focusing on improving my cooking, reducing our expenditures, increasing quality of life, and lastly training to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Should be an interesting ride.

First, I obviously have lots to learn, on all topics.  And so, the point of this blog is to help me be a better SAHD and a marathon runner. Therefore, comments, tips and suggestions are encouraged and appreciated.

I do enjoy the SAHD opportunity but I’m also working on starting up a small business. (that activity could be its own blog)

Hmmm. Well, I’m currently where you were from Sept 2011-July 2012 with my adopted son at home while mom works. Hoping to be where you are now at some point…soon….Glad you found my blog because I am really enjoying reading yours. Best of luck qualifying for Boston! I’ll cheer you on as I try to do the same.
