As I’ve written before, it is stunning how quickly Will develops new skills, words and knowledge.
Just the other day, Will was coloring, which he does most days. But this time, I noticed that he (mostly) colored ‘within the lines.’ Has he been doing this for awhile but I never noticed or is this a new thing..?
I think this is a newly acquired skill.
And how does a child learn to ‘color within the lines?’ Is it just modeled behavior?
Switching gears, to running. I’ve only run three times since the marathon. Currently, recovering from pneumonia so will not run for a few more days. The flu, pneumonia and several other nasty bugs are popping up all over Seattle. Looking on the bright side, this is the time for me to be ill. Doesn’t impact a race, training or the upcoming snowboard season. October’s plan was just ‘recovery’ from the year’s training and races. November goals- bounce back and slowly increase the miles.
I’m getting antsy. Looking forward to running again.
