My closet is a mess. And the first content to “organize” should be my running shoes.
Currently, I have five pairs plus one more pair in the basement that I put screws into, for ice/snow running. (yeah, I know…how often will I use that?). But of these shoes, only three pair are “actively” used in my running. For a Marathon runner, is this number of shoes over the top?
Decided to do some market research, so recently, I posted a question on a Runners World Marathon Forum, “how many pairs of running shoes do you own?” and here are the first ten responses:
- 4 pair
- 5
- 5
- 4
- 7
- 8
- 6
- 3
- 7
- 6
Looking at these numbers, perhaps, my number of shoes isn’t ridiculous. And I promise to donate a few pair to Goodwill.
And when I thought of this post title, naturally I thought of MJ and his classic Nike ads, “its gotta be the shoes”. Hadn’t seen this in years. Enjoy:
